LAHAR

LAHAR is a handmade ceramics collection inspired by Indonesia’s volcanic landscapes.
The Indonesian word for lavalahar carries both movement and memory — something raw, shaped, and transformed.

This collection was born from a fusion of geometry and tradition.

I was drawn to the quiet elegance of triangles, to their strength and precision, and to the way they contrast with softer, more organic curves.

Each piece is carefully shaped and refined by hand, where sharp lines meet gentle transitions, and where balance becomes essential.

A deep red glaze, reminiscent of molten lava, flows across the surfaces — sometimes controlled, sometimes unpredictable — giving each piece its own rhythm, its own intensity.

From cups to bowls and small plates, every object is a unique expression of this process. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one carries its own nuances, its own story, shaped in the moment.

Through LAHAR, I wanted to create a space where traditional craftsmanship meets a more contemporary, sculptural approach to ceramics — where form, texture, and fire come together in quiet harmony.

This collection is now sold out. Each piece has found a home.
